About
What it is like to work with PEF, and how we make sure your team is more capable when we leave than when we arrived.
This page covers the practical side of engaging us: how we scope work, the shapes an engagement can take, and how we work with your procurement, whether you are a private company, an investor or a public body.
We start with a proper conversation about your situation, not a sales pitch. If there is a fit, we propose a scope with a defined objective, specific KPIs, a clear set of deliverables and a fixed timeframe. You know what you are getting, how success is measured and when the engagement ends before you commit.
The right model depends on the work.
In every case the engagement has a defined objective. We do not do open ended retainers with no end in sight.
We are transparent about cost and we prefer to price against a defined scope so you know what you are committing to. Where the work is genuinely exploratory, we will say so and structure an initial phase to establish the scope before you commit to the whole.
We are used to working with formal procurement, in both the private and public sectors, and we are comfortable with the diligence, documentation and contracting that involves. If you can only engage suppliers through a particular route or framework, tell us early and we will work with you to find a compliant path. We are actively building our presence on the public sector frameworks relevant to our work, and we are happy to discuss the current position with you directly.
Much of our work is commercially sensitive, and we treat it accordingly. We are glad to sign non disclosure agreements before detailed conversations, and discretion is a normal part of how we operate, which is also why we describe our client work carefully.
