Managing Partner of PEF Consulting Partners. Nineteen years delivering the systems and transformation programmes that businesses and governments cannot afford to get wrong.
Book a confidential conversationChris has spent nineteen years leading the programmes that carry the most risk, across energy, utilities, government and regulated markets. He has implemented and delivered pretty much every major finance system, from Oracle and SAP S/4HANA to Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage and Unit4, and he has recovered the programmes that others could not.
He founded PEF to do that work the way it should be done: senior people who stay accountable for the outcome, independent of any software vendor, with no products to sell and no commissions to chase.
As Project Director for the separation of NESO from National Grid, Chris ran the procurement of every software provider through to implementation, across an estate of more than twenty two million assets. As Project Director for the £9bn Energy Bills Support Scheme, he was accountable to Ofgem, BEIS and HMRC for making sure public money reached households and was not lost by the companies disbursing it.
He led the BP Pulse global EV charging rollout as Global Transformation Director, where one programme alone saved £25m, and he led the first ever water migration onto the Kraken platform, with no playbook to follow.
Chris works the way he built PEF to work. The senior person you meet is the one who does the work, the advice carries no vendor bias, and the measure of success is the outcome delivered, not the hours billed.
Independent, senior delivery on the programmes that matter most.
