The need

Sponsors rarely get the unvarnished truth

Status reports go green until they suddenly go red. An independent assurance review cuts through the optimism and tells the sponsor what is really happening: whether the plan is credible, whether the business case still holds, and what has to change for it to land.

What we provide

From a one off review to a running PMO

Independent assurance

A direct review of plan, scope, budget, risk and governance, with a clear verdict and the few actions that matter.

Business case and options

Scrutiny of the case for investment and the options, so the board commits money with its eyes open.

PMO and governance

Set up or run the PMO, reporting and controls that keep a programme honest week to week.

Why independent matters

No stake except your outcome

We hold no software licences and take no vendor commissions, so an assurance review from us is not steering you toward anyone’s product.

On the £9bn Energy Bills Support Scheme we were accountable for making sure public money was spent properly, which is the same discipline we bring to your programme.

Common questions

Assurance questions, answered

Is this a one off review or ongoing?

Either. We do point in time assurance reviews and we set up or run PMOs on an ongoing basis.

How is this different from our internal PMO?

Independence. We have no stake in the status looking good, so we can tell the sponsor what an internal team sometimes cannot.

Do you just write a report?

No. We give a clear verdict and the few actions that decide the outcome, and we can stay to help land them.

Can you assure a supplier’s delivery?

Yes, and because we are vendor independent there is no conflict in doing so.

What do you review?

Plan, scope, budget, risk, governance, the business case and the team, focused on whether the programme can actually land.

Know whether it will land
