CRM implementation from a consultancy with no CRM to sell

The problem

Most CRM implementations are configured by the vendor and ignored by the users

A CRM implementation is sold as a software project and fails as an adoption project. The partner configures objects and workflows, the data arrives half clean from three old systems, the integration with billing or the ERP is left to phase two, and the sales team keeps its spreadsheets because the new system asks for more than it gives back. Twelve months later the licence bill is real and the pipeline report is not.

We run CRM implementation from the client side: the process and data design before the platform, the selection without a reseller interest, the partner managed to a fixed scope and the adoption measured after go live rather than assumed at it.

What we do

Three ways we help

Select the platform

Requirements built from the sales and service process you want, a shortlist from Salesforce, Dynamics 365, HubSpot and the specialists, scripted demonstrations on your data and a commercial negotiation with no commission on the outcome.

Run the implementation

Client side programme leadership: data cleansing and migration, integration with ERP, billing and marketing systems, testing on real scenarios, training by role and a cutover that does not stop the sales team selling.

Rescue or assure

An independent view when a CRM programme has stalled or the users have gone back to spreadsheets, and a replan that gets the adoption the business case assumed.

How it works

Fixed scope, named people, the platform decided on evidence

Every engagement starts with a short diagnostic of the current sales, marketing and service processes and the data that supports them, which produces a plain written view of what a CRM has to do for you and which platforms can do it. From there we agree a fixed fee for selection, implementation leadership or both, name the people and report in the same words to you and your board.

We hold no reseller agreements with Salesforce, Microsoft, HubSpot or anyone else, so the recommendation is about fit, not margin.

Assurance or integration

Part A assurance, Part B full integration

Our CRM work comes in two parts, and you can take either or both.

Part A: assurance

An independent check on your CRM partner and programme: the proposal and licence mix tested, configuration and data quality reviewed at each stage, and adoption measured before anyone calls it done.

Part B: full integration

We lead the CRM programme from your side and own the integration with ERP, billing, marketing and telephony, plus data migration, testing, training and a cutover that keeps sales and service running.

Or both

Start with assurance and move into the full integration when you are ready, with the same people throughout.

Common questions

CRM implementation, answered

How long does a CRM implementation take?

Six to twelve weeks for a straightforward HubSpot rollout, three to six months for a mid market Salesforce or Dynamics 365 implementation, and longer where the data is poor or the integration with ERP and billing is complex. A timeline of a few weeks for a complex estate usually describes the configuration, not the adoption.

How much does CRM implementation cost?

On top of the licences, from around £10,000 to £30,000 for a straightforward HubSpot rollout, £40,000 to £150,000 for a typical mid market Salesforce or Dynamics 365 implementation, and £250,000 or more where data migration and integration with ERP and billing are complex. The partner day rate matters less than the scope control.

Salesforce, Dynamics 365 or HubSpot?

It depends on your sales and service model, your existing Microsoft or Google estate, your integration needs and your budget over five years rather than one. We will tell you which, with the evidence, and we earn nothing from the answer.

Can you integrate the CRM with our ERP or billing system?

Yes. The integration design is usually the most important and most neglected part of a CRM programme, and we design it before the platform is configured rather than after.

What if our CRM programme has already stalled?

We run a short independent review of the scope, data, partner performance and adoption, give you a plain view of why it stalled and a replan to get it moving, and can lead the recovery if you want us to.
