Pricing guide
The licence is usually the smallest part of what a CRM costs. This guide sets out indicative UK licence prices for the main platforms, what implementation involves and the running costs that catch organisations out.

Implementation covers process design, configuration, data migration, integrations, testing and training. The cost depends far more on complexity than on the platform.
| Scope | What it involves |
|---|---|
| Simple | Standard setup for one team, a contact and deal import, basic reporting |
| Moderate | Several teams, custom objects and automation, integration with email, finance or marketing tools, data cleansing |
| Complex | Sales, service and marketing together, multiple integrations, complex permissions, large data migration, phased rollout |

From around £12 per user per month for entry level Zoho editions to £440 for Salesforce’s top edition. Capable mid tiers from the main vendors generally sit between £50 and £160 per user per month.
Zoho, HubSpot’s starter tiers and Salesforce Starter are common low cost starting points. Choose on fit and ease of use, because switching later costs more than the licence savings.
From a few thousand pounds for a simple single team setup to six figure programmes for complex deployments with several integrations and large data migrations.
Renewal increases, added users, higher editions, add ons and the cost of administration. Agree renewal caps and review licences every year to stay in control.
